That is how you pronounce it, but my friends have taken to shortening it and mispronouncing it as ‘Isilie’ (‘is-lee’).

It’s grown on me.

This is purely a blog to vent my current obsession with H!P. I am a creature of extremes. When I like something, it’s difficult not to let it consume much of my thoughts. I also rant a lot, so please take whatever I say with a grain of salt. Even when I’m cruel, my tongue is planted firmly in my cheek. And hey, if I wasn’t opinionated, this blog would be pretty boring, right? I feel also that I should mention I am NOT American. I am Canadian, which despite what people might think is not the same thing.

I have at this point completely fallen victim to Arashi. *shakes fist at Johnnys* I entirely blame Ohno Satoshi. Also: I watch so many J-dramas that I’m considering making another blog just to rant about those.

Phrases/Words You’ll See:

1) “pwn” = meaning to do something, or to generally be, awesome

2) “a supreme wtf” = self explanatory

3)“KAKKOIIIR#*$(&GFhjrgD(&TYE$TW (etc.)“ = this is what happens when I encounter Yossy at a particularly cool moment…I call it the Yossy Keyboard Mash…as this is what my fingers do when Yossy does that to me.

4) “Winky” and “Nutjob” = respectively, Tanaka Reina and Kusumi Koharu

5) “capping” This refers to taking screencaptures from various media, such as pvs, tv shows and the like. That’s probably an obvious one, but I thought I should address it here because I am addicted to it. I post way too many screencaps regardless of subject matter. The general rule of thumb around here is to expect caps.

6) “murder[ed/s]” To take a song and give it new life because your performance is so amazing (ie. it’s a compliment). Example – Yossy and Rika absolutely murdered ‘Special Generation’.

I will always love Morning Musume best of all of H!P, but will probably never like Koharu or Reina…and I do mean NEVER. While I try to be fair when I review things, don’t expect me to be particularly nice to them. I don’t HATE these girls, but I don’t like them very much. I give some of the H!P girls unflattering nicknames. This is done purely for my own amusement, not out of some sort of malice.

Yossy will always be my favourite with Abe Natsumi being a close second.

I will probably always think H!P kids are too young.

I’ve tried to pick my favourite Momusu song and it’s impossible. I keep thinking I’ve found it, but…no. It’s impossible. I pretty much love everything they’ve done. Oh, there are some that aren’t high on my list, but I’ve yet to find anything I absolutely can’t stand (Rainbow Pink does not count – I’ve barely gotten to the minute mark in that one).

I will probably, at some point, make you angry, but please try to avoid name-calling just because we don’t agree. I ask this knowing that it’s probably not going to happen, but hey, one has to try.

Currently Watching: Manhattan Love Story, Long Vacation, Tokyo DOGS,  Smile、My Girl, Ohitorisama. I’m also desperately wishing someone would sub the rest of Room of King.　Koharu from My Girl is possibly the cutest child I’ve ever seen.
